Half-Greek, Half-Turkish and
based in London, Leyla Diamondi is a 20-year-old artist making alt-pop for a
generation going through a singularly unique mental health challenge. Diamondi’s
new single, ‘Make Up Your Mind’, starts with Ariana Grande-esque vocals and a
melody that pulses nicely before taking on a Robyn inspired edge which gives it
a little twist. Vocally, Diamondi expresses control and power for the main body
of the song before she really lets rip towards the end and this shows just how
much potential this young artist has.
