Grace starts with a gentle, unassuming melody and finger clicks for a beat but
on the 19 second mark there’s a bassline that drops in that gives it some
serious funk, this one gives you no choice but to pay attention. ‘How True Is
Your Love’ has the style of Paloma Faith, the substance of Florence + the
Machine and the bravery of Kimbra to try something a little bit different.
Great for a kitchen disco (is there any other kind right now?) and primed for
some success on commercial radio following in the wake of the lakes of Dua Lipa
and Rita Ora. Gorgeous stuff.
