back with anti-fame anthem ‘LA Money’ and it works perfectly with her stance
against the airbrushed popularity competition that pop music has become. “All
these bitches want something from me, got me fucked up on LA Money” she sings
while sitting on a giant CGI mushroom while a giant eyeball moon stares down at
her standing in a valley of skulls. The point is, Alma’s voice is as perfect
for this genre as Robyn’s and the melodies work beautifully to echo her pain
and frustration with her current situation.
