The fact that this is coming out
on Positiva rather than Anjuna Beats is something of a surprise given that the
vibe fits the Above & Beyond blueprint so brilliantly but that doesn’t
really matter when the music is so good. Daniel Blume’s latest track, ‘Nights
Like This’, is an uplifting, trancey and hugely hooky track built around the
Irishman’s vocals and surging, urgent synth chords. As the video so perfectly attests,
this is a track for driving around in the city at night with nowhere to go
until the right party turns up on the horizon. The irony, of course, is that
the party is wherever this tune is being played.
