Seven Red Lions have an urgency them music which is so sadly lacking in a lot
of new music these days. The band’s new single ‘Citizen’ is and indie-rock
stomper with searing guitars, breathless vocals and a rhythm section that
punches harder than Tyson Fury. There are elements of the Clash, the Police,
the Libertines and the Damn Vandals running throughout this and if you don’t
get swept up in the energy of this then you’re probably ready to turn your
radio over to Gold FM and slowly slip in to a coma to a soundtrack of golden
oldies.
