Brighton outfit and IDLES
favourites Ditz have managed to weave an anti-homophobia message into a song
with a football based video called ‘Totally 90’; I’m already sold. The rumble
of the rhythm section is met by the panicked and hysterical screams of the
guitar and a direct vocal performance that is part IDLES, part Fontaines D.C.
and part the Fall. Imbued with the same chaotic and unhinged energy as Cassels
and with the socially aware power of Life, Ditz are ready to take 2020 by storm
so don’t even think about standing in their way.
