Canadian artist Margo has done a
great job of blending lilting strumming and dance-ready bass notes on this new
release to create a really uplifting sound. ‘Someday’ is a song that mourns for
the future with a sense of wistfulness as the gang vocals sing “Someday when
you’re older you’ll wish that we had changed” atop the perky melody. This has a
vibe of Passenger or Avicii about it and I can entirely see this being used on
a holiday advert trying to entice people to Canada or New Zealand in search of
life affirming moments to lock away in the memory banks.
