based Calista Kazuko comes with an uber stylish new video that sits somewhere between
Bjork, Pussy Riot and Frida Kahlo if they were all recruited as Bond girls for
the new film in the franchise. Musically, ‘Lady Cherry’, has an equally
dramatic sound with slinky, stylish guitars, strings sweeping out beyond the horizon
and Kazuko’s voice impishly and seductively dancing around the fringes with
coquettish style and an underlying sense of menace. If this doesn’t end up on
the soundtrack of the next series of Killing Eve then something has gone
seriously awry.
