Nigerian-British artist A.T is
doing the unexpected with new single ‘Kumbaya’ – this isn’t just a straight
version of the famous hymn. No, this is instead a lively but equally sombre
afrobeat slice with A.T’s vocal easing smoothly in between the skittish beat
and fluttering melodies. There’s a real end-of-summer vibe to this and it’s no
surprise to find Alt-J mixer Graeme Baldwin having some involvement in this,
such is the intriguingly and uniquely off-beat nature of the track. The weather
