FONTAINES D.C. – SINGLE REVIEW

Fonatines D.C. – Sha Sha Sha (Partisan
Fontaines D.C. - Sha Sha Sha
Records)

Release Date: Out Now

Dublin outfit Fontaines D.C. are pushing hard for owning 2019 and new single ‘Sha Sha Sha’ is pushing them just another step over the edge. A thumping beat gets things going before a perky little riff and pulsating bass line join in and then those trademark deadpan Irish accented vocals complete the package. Along with IDLES and Life, Fontaines D.C. are at the vanguard of a movement which speaks plainly, values raw production values and cares not one jot for commercial success if it means compromising their message by even 0.001%. Also, the video is a brilliantly odd mix of A Clockwork Orange and some nightmarish Circus which makes it highly watchable.
