DINOSAUR PILE-UP – SINGLE REVIEW

Dinosaur Pile-Up – Back Foot (Parlophone
Dinosaur Pile-Up - Back Foot
Records)

Release Date: Out Now

Well, Dinosaur Pile-Up have shot straight in to my short-list for both single and video of the year with this latest single. ‘Back Foot’ is a deliciously moreish slice of skate-grunge-pop full of the same energy that made Sum 41 so popular but with the power of Buckcherry and the geek-swagger of Weezer. Taking on the pitfalls of the trio’s growing success with the same attitude of Deadpool, Dinosaur Pile-Up sound like the bastard child of Reuben and Nirvana conceived after a one-night stand in the toilets of a bowling alley after a particularly intense and drunk game of lazer tag. The video is a whole lot of fun and mixed with the body-blow drums and the cool af guitars we have a seriously complete package on our hands.
