TRUE STRAYS – SINGLE REVIEW

True Strays – Homesick Blues
True Strays - Homesick Blues

Release Date: 19th April 2019

There’s an organ sound on this new release from Bristol band True Strays that I just want to roll around in and get all sticky. You know, the kind of lush, blues inspired sound that swirls all around you and envelopes you? Well, ‘Homesick Blues’ is slathered in that sound along with dirty guitars and punchy drums – it’s an intoxicating combination. Vibe wise, this is somewhere between Wille & the Bandits, early Gomez and the Black Crowes with that bluesy rock’n’roll sound blended with an English accent on the vocals making for a fresh and head brew.
