London quartet Hawxx are hitting
you right in the feels this Valentine’s Day…. with a mallet. You see, the band’s
debut single ‘Love’s A Bitch’ packs quite the punch with its brooding, pulsating
bass line, snapping drums and guitars that snarl and roar in all the right
places. There are elements of Biffy Clyro, Rews, Royal Blood and even a little
Deep Purple if you listen closely but most of all there is a whole of raw power
that would be impressive on any track but for a debut lined up to release on
the international day of love this is, frankly, lethal. In a good way.
