This immediately feels like one of those songs that you’ve known for a while due to it’s uplifting vibe and singalong chorus but I’ve had a good look and I can’t find any evidence that I’ve heard this before, so I have to conclude that this is just a great track. The Strumbellas hail from Ontario and they’re about to embark upon an almighty tour which looks gruelling but with the positive energy of ‘Salvation’ ringing in their ears I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a blast. Driving drums and layer upon layer of bouncy indie-pop melodies mix up to make a multi-coloured soup of a track which, if real, would probably be made out of nothing but Skittles and Red Bull. So it’s probably lucky that this is aural soup. That sounds weird, I should probably stop now.
