Glasgow solo artist Malka is back
and flying the flag for independent musicians everywhere with her latest self
released single ‘Don’t Leave Me’ out on her own imprint Tantrum Records. There
is the trademark wispy whimsy from Malka’s voice matching the likes of Mae
Karthauser for the elfin quality of tone. This track, however, is built around
a steady and hypnotically simple rhythm and sprinkled melodies that make it
sound like the kind of machine that Santa and his elves use to create magical
toys that inspire wonderment and joy in all the hearts they touch.
