There’s so much great and diverse
music coming out of Britain at the moment and Libby Whitehouse is the latest
artist on that conveyor belt. New single ‘New Boy’ is light and breezy pop with
an 80s undertone but at the same time this might just be Britain’s answer to
Ariana Grande with her pitch perfect vocals, poised image and fierce attitude.
The beats are perky, the production quality is slick and there’s just enough of
a groove to hook you in. Whitehouse is gearing up for her first headline show
later this year and, despite being just 18, you can’t help but feel confident
that she’s going to smash it without breaking in to a sweat.
