BLACK FUTURES – SINGLE REVIEW

Black Futures – Trance
Black Futures - Trance

Release Date: Out Now

I’m not sure how many more times I can go on about Black Futures and just how awesome they are but I’m willing to give it one more try. The London duo’s new single, ‘Trance’, is like a euphoric mix of all the great indie-dance-rock club bangers from down the years all mashed in to one. The beats are pure KLF, the spirit is Primal Scream, the energy is Chemical Brothers and the style is somewhere between Iggy Pop and Queens of the Stone Age. Even before you see the video, you get the impression that this is a tune for blasting out in the middle of nowhere repeatedly until you sweat your demons out or inhale them through one orifice or another. “I see colours, I see light” goes the lyric and if you can’t see something by the end of this then you’re listening wrong. So listen up and listen good.

Live Dates:

7th December – Concorde 2, Brighton w/Skindred
8th December – The Underworld, Camden w/Skindred
