The fantastically named
Birmingham outfit Sunshine Frisbee Laserbeam are not content with just having
an awesome band name, oh no. The band’s new single is called ‘All The Way over
the Edge (Bro’s Don’t Talk about Anything)’ and aside from being long it’s also
pretty timely. Men’s mental health is finally getting talked about and this
wonky take on the subject via rattled garage riffs and enthusiastic drumming
matches up with the way your head can feel when all the thoughts seem to come
at once like fat kids exploding out of water slides. This is raw, urgent,
frenetic and just downright fun stuff but give the message a listen too if
you’ve got the inclination.
