campaign, ‘Perfect’ is the latest release from Swedish alt-pop star Isa and it’s
an anthem in waiting. On top of uplifting melodies and dirty bass lines, Isa
reminds us all that perfection is nothing that we should strive for in ourselves
or in our relationships. As she puts so eloquently, “sometimes I get wasted,
but I don’t black out, some days I’m pretty lazy I just wanna lay down”, and
that’s all cool. Now, that might not sound like an anthem but in an image obsessed
world where young women are constantly told to look better, be sexier or just
give more of themselves it might just be the arm around the shoulder that some
people need right now.
