I’ve been slowly falling in love
with Paradisia’s music for a while now. Slowly because that’s how the trio’s music
should be enjoyed, like an expensive wine. New single ‘Keep on Preying’ is yet
another step down the road towards full-on infatuation as the 80s inspired
melodies speak of Eurythmics meets LadyHawke with Kate Bush nodding approval
from the back of the studio and Fleetwood Mac on speed-dial for final sign off.
These are three talented women creating tunes of high class and mass appeal
which puts them up there in a fairly exclusive category with Wildwood Kin in
terms of British all female trios at the top of their game. We’re a long way
from Bananarama here folks.
