TAL – SINGLE REVIEW

TAL – Slow Down the Flow (Warner Music)
TAL - Slow Down the Flow

Release Date: Out Now

First things first, this may be the first real impact of Brexit as talented French-Israeli singer TAL is going on a comprehensive tour of Western Europe that doesn’t once reach British shores, probably through fear of instant deportation or battling with laser sharks in the English Channel. But the racist nutjobs can’t stop music floating across the airwaves (or can they?) so, for the time being, let’s enjoy her new single ‘Slow Down the Flow’. TAL’s low, sultry voice is part machine and part soulful diva on top of a low bass drone before kicking in to a Rhianna-esque up-tempo chorus imploring everyone to just slow down a bit and appreciate life a little more. As messages go, this kind of rules and the video is a beautifully orchestrated dance routine infused with commentary on how society is falling apart around us. So, you know, what the video on your phone and then throw your phone in a drawer and go and hug someone you love.
