REBEKAH TODD – SINGLE REVIEW

Rebekah Todd – Let Me Prove My Love
Rebekah Todd - Let Me Prove My Love

Release Date: Out Now

Here’s an odd coincidence. In a former life, I used to run live music events at a bar in London called the Wilmington Arms. Rebekah Todd, on the other hand, is a sultry blues-country singer from Wilmington, North Carolina. What are the chances? Todd’s new single ‘Let Me Prove My Love’ is a slow but heated affair with the kind of class that Norah Jones or Corrine Bailey-Rae. The gentle swing and sway is relaxed, balmy and fuelled with a mournful passion that is hard to resist. Todd’s voice is as smooth and easy as a Louisiana summer dusk which is about as smooth and easy as things get without a whisky. Fine, let’s have a whisky too. Now THAT is a winning combination, especially when you put on a tassled denim jacket too.
