For a trio of indie-rockers from
Manchester, these gents have an awfully American friendly sound. Peur (no idea
either) are ready to present their new single, 'Hollow Skies', which starts a
little moodily and then kicks in to a stadium filling rock smasher with Fallout
Boy or 30 Seconds To Mars running through the core of it. What saves it is the
intrigue created by taking a leaf out of the Muse and Biffy Clyro books of song
craft that mean the tune shifts and undulates in ways you might not expect.
Nevertheless, the big riffs, booming drums and impassioned vocals are all
present and correct which means the American post-emo market will swallow this
up. Expect this to be on the soundtrack to the next Twilight spin off movie
franchise and then watch the bucks roll in.
