For starters, great name. Royce
Wood Junior looks like it would be an anagram of something fantastic but in
this case it's just the name of a funky dude from London town. 'Rover' is the
new single a late night, low lit, slow burner just primed for making your move
on the object of your desires. Take a twist of 80s pop soul, some 90s beats and
a put a modern slant on things as well as some neon lighting behind your
cocktail glass and Royce your uncle. Layered across the top is a voice full of
gentle soul and organic sweetness fed through some mild auto-tune which makes
for the perfect accompaniment - like silk sheets and an open fire, some things
just go well together.
