Southampton duo The Diamond Age
are back with a new single and a whole lot of accolades from the great and the
good of the music industry. 'Seas Happen', the aforementioned new single, is a
polished, perfectly crafted piece of sparse electro-pop with a throbbing bass
line and the feel of bands like Delphic, New Order and Disclosure which is not
bad company to keep. There is a certain sense of soul missing from this but the
melodies ebb and flow with precision and Kraftwerk never worried about having
soul so who am I to judge?
