As music videos go, rebellious
school kids getting one over on the teachers is fairly staple but I have to say
I'm fairly impressed with how MisterWives have used this theme with minimal
need to resort to over sexualisation of school girls despite skirts which are
minimal in their own right. As for the song, 'Reflections' is a fast paced,
bouncy and fairly treble heavy pop song featuring the superb vocal talents of Mandy
Lee at the forefront. Essentially, we're talking pop with an edge so the likes
of Of Monsters And Men, latter day No Doubt and Kate Nash without the accent or
swearing come to mind. Intriguing stuff that deserves more than one listen.
