After I got over the initial
disappointment that this wasn't a duet between Johnny Cash and Craig David (just
imagine that), I immediately fell in love with what this actually is; a dance
punk ballad. The London based duo are as enigmatic as Daft Punk but 'Funn'
starts off more like an Air track with its gentle, woozy qualities and
seductive nature. But then the chorus, if that's what it is, is a dirty, sleazy
Sleigh Bells-esque electro-bass line that grabs you by the crotch and stares
you straight in the eye. 'Funn' is exactly what it says it is but it should
come with an 18 certificate, this is adult, R rated fun that everyone should
try at least once.
