Molly Wishart - Dear Daisy EP
Release Date: 15th October 2026
Molly Wishart has been one of the more gentle break out artists of 2026 but once her melodies get under your skin you'll be hard pushed to extract them (that sounded sinister, it wasn't supposed to but you catch my drift). The 'Dear Daisy' EP opens with the escapism of 'Running Free' which is a perfectly pure alt-pop track with the emphasis firmly on pop and Wishart's vocal sails effortlessly above the buzzing melody. Former single 'Summer Days' is a more jazz tinged offering that will have you swaying from side to side and think of warmer climes as the south of France vibe washes gently over you.
Switching weather patterns, 'Rain' is a more introspective number with a gorgeously 80s inspired piano motif and a strong seam of heartbreak running through it like a depressed stick of rock. Title track 'Dear Daisy' finishes off the EP and the best is saved for last as the most radio friendly and instantly hookable track floats from the speakers and into your ears where it will set up home. What is so remarkable about Molly Wishart is that she doesn't seem to have a drop of anger, bitterness, or rage in her music which is actually wonderfully refreshing at a time when a lot of music is understandably rageful. She'll have a secret somewhere - she's probably obsessively competitive at board games or something. Amazing musician though.
