I had no idea what to expect from this track but that's the best way, isn't it? No expectations and an open mind. Kabuki are a group hell-bent on creativity and art but not at the expensive of a good time if pulsating new single 'Art' is anything to go by. A chugging guitar riff puts you firmly in rock'n'roll territory but the performative vocals give strong Erotic Secrets of Pompeii vibes while the regular whistling interludes are an unexpected treat. I'm still not sure entirely what to expect from Kabuki but I know it will be fun and that's half the battle won.
