I never know whether art has been created using AI these days and I'm firmly in the anti-AI camp when it comes to creativity but I do like the cover art for this new single from Mancunian outfit We Three Kings. 'Joyrider' sounds as good as it looks, thankfully, and there's no hint of anything artificial in the opening drum roll and driving guitars. This track sounds exactly like a car revving up and then taking off along the highway with not a care for what is left behind. The vocals don't join in for nearly a minute but they are suitably rock'n'roll in their sweaty, screaming desperation. I don't know where this car is going but I want in, I'll bring the wine gums.
