It's another high octane release from Welsh trio Skindred as new single 'This Is The Sound' hits your ears without any warm-up. Grinding guitars and powerhouse drums are given the club treatment with a vocal refrain of "this is the sound that makes me go crazy" before frontman Benji Webbe drops his distinct rock-rap vocal stylings with his uniquely gravelly voice. Moshpits will indeed go crazy for this sound and my neck muscles are already aching from the headbangability of this one. Huge tune.
