Carpenter Brut is new to my ears but is apparently a bit of a legend in the French music scene and I can see why. New single 'The Misfits The Rebels' is a high octane synth infused blast to the senses with beats that border on drum'n'bass and a video that matches the energy of the music perfectly. The dark and churning vibe behind the melody gives this the perfect mood to spark a rebellion or at least soundtrack your invasive thoughts - probably best not to put it on your workout playlist though, it might give you a heart attack.
