My 2026 bingo card did not have American rockers Bowling For Soup covering the lo-fi Elastica Britpop anthem 'Connection' on it but, hey, I'm all for surprises. With Able Machines joining for the ride and adding some Betty Boo energy, this version is understandably more polished than the original with more charismatic vocals but the punchy guitar line is still there - it kinda had to be. Along with the retro Star Trek inspired video this is a real treat to start the year with.
