Glasgow based singer-songwriter Ant Thomaz brings a much needed uplift on his new single 'Good Times Roll'. Trilling horns, a ska-reggae rhythm, and Thomaz's smooth, soulful vocal make for a strong start that gets under your skin and makes you want to dance your blues away. There are elements of Ben Harper and Jack Johnson in here but also a heavy dose of Mississippi inspired party vibes and, frankly, I'd pay good money to be cut adrift on a riverboat with this kind of music playing long into the night.
