They might have dropped 'the Henge' from their name but Tankus haven't lost anything else based on this double single release. 'Fountain Of Youth' rattles and chugs with an energy that slots neatly between Madness and Chas'n'Dave but a flamboyancy and theatrical nature that is more Scissor Sisters meets a young Elton John. The rattling piano and beefy horns provide the perfect backdrop for charismatic vocalist Jaz Delorean to perform in front of and you can't help but get swept away in it. 'Clapton Pond', by contrast, leans more on the folk and ska-pop ends of the musical spectrums as they sing about the gentrification of another creative area of London via exquisite vocal harmonies.
