This time, the 7:45s have brought Nicole Battick along for vocal duties but new single 'The Writing's On The Wall' is a true ensemble piece so there's something for everyone here. Luscious horns and a dirty, dirty organ get us going, Battick's vocals are pure soul, and the rhythm section plugs straight into your hips to get that sway going. I'm running out of superlatives for this band so I'll just say that I popped them on at a recent BBQ with an unsuspecting audience and they went down an absolute storm. Which is more than I can say for my cooking....
