'You Get What You Give' by the New Radicals is one of those songs that was a bop, then got overplayed and then disappeared and so now seems like a great time to bring it back. Manchester's Better Joy has decided that she's the one to bring it back with a pleasingly jangling 90s guitar sound and a fade-in intro (rare as hen's teeth these days). Better Joy's voice is perfectly suited to a song that is designed to inspire hope and positivity while the indie chug of the band behind her makes me want to pop on a bucket hat and head out on a road trip in the summer (with mobile phones or social media).
