So 'Machinery' is the second track I've reviewed from US duo Fake Dad and I'm already well on my way to falling in love with them. The laid back buy noisy garage punk vibes transport you straight to a suburban practice on a Tuesday afternoon as the vocals swirl like lassos around the duelling guitars and drums. Throw in some lo-fi keys and a whole bunch of attitude and you've got yourself a tune that will appeal to fans of Tennis, Beach House, Sleigh Bells and Sleater Kinney.
