Oooh there's a doomy gorgeousness to this song that I just want to roll around in like a dog with a big pile of leaves. Brilliantly named duo Phwoar have created the equally impressive 'Waiting For The Sun' which is as sludgy as Placebo at their darkest whilst embracing the slacker energy of the Lemonheads or Mudhoney. The low slung riffage and ominously pounding drums makes for the kind of song that brings out your inner dramatic performer and the switch between male and female vocals just adds some cinematic beauty to the whole thing. Darkly stunning stuff.
