A nice little throwback to 90s geek-rock, LA style, with the new single from the excellently named Shufflepuck. 'Where The Hell Is She' gets straight down to business with crunching, fuzzy guitars and punchy drums lifting you from the sofa you fell asleep on last night and straight in to your battered sneakers to see what the day will bring you. There are obvious comparisons to Weezer and Fountains of Wayne but the likes of Kerbdog, Ash and the Frank & Walters can be heard in there too. Nostalgia, sure, but still sounding fresh as hell.
