London based Sky_A presents something a little different on new single 'Walker' and that should always be applauded. The guitar melody and vocals run parallel while a pulsating, almost medical beat is joined by more organic, tribal percussion. There are elements of Peter Gabriel to this and guitar playing that moves from the blues to roots with a detour via prog. There is an atmosphere to this song that I can't quite put my finger on but it is unsettling and unsettled in equal measure which, when coupled with the melodies, makes for one hell of a listen.
