I've been looking forward to the return of My Life Story since I first heard a whisper that  Jake Shillingford's ambitious musical project was due to resurface in 2024. The first offering is new single 'Running Out Of Heartbeats' starts with a punchy beat and razor sharp guitars before that trademark swaggering vocal joins in full of charm, confidence and glamour. A glorious mix of Pulp, Divine Comedy and Duran Duran all wrapped up in a post-Britpop suit. Welcome back MLS.
