The pairing of video and audio on this new release from the superb Saint Saviour is sublime and I won't hear a word against it. 'Better Than' is a softly wistful acoustic meander with a shuffling beat and Saint Saviour's whisper-gentle vocal creating a soothing vibe with a tough-love message as she repeats the line "you're better than that". A small orchestra of instruments lean in from the shadows to have their say while the video follows lads on horses riding through town and down to the beach as though they haven't a care in the world. Sublime.
