Irish trio the Fae are back with their third single '2004', a slow burning slice of jangly, shoe-gaze fun with soft vocal harmonies and not a bone of malice in its body. Oh, but what's this, half-way through this tune transforms in to an agitated, pogo-dancing, garage-rock inspired, indie-kid of a song bouncing off unsuspecting onlookers with fuzzed up guitars and rattling drums that make you want to head out to your nearest sticky-floored basement club for a good time, not a long time.
