Mia Nicolai is trying to shake off the stigma of having been part of Eurovision and new single 'Loop' does more than enough to make you forget. A playful but slightly menacing melody gets things going along with some breathy and impish vocals that draw you in. The Dutch artist has a real knack for drawing you in with the melodies and then giving your head a spin with the lyrics and general delivery - far too sophisticated and interesting for mere Eurovision fodder.
