I love the mix of influences that you get to hear in music so I was really intrigued to hear what the alt-pop of an Irish-Palestinian artist might sound like. Roisin El Cherif drops new single 'Daylight' and it is suitably fresh in its sound with bubbling electro bass notes being matched by a pure dance vocal. The beat that joins in has a Middle-Eastern flavour to it with percussive flourishes bringing a different edge to a tune that will have your senses in whirl. Like I said, a mix of influences but, whichever way you look at it, you have to know this is an incredible which will have you dancing in to the darkest parts of the night.
