DEADLETTER - SINGLE REVIEW

Deadletter - Degenerate Inanimate (SO
Recordings)

Release Date: Out Now

Sax fueled indie noiseniks Deadletter are back with moody but interesting new single 'Degenerate Inanimate'. With pinging melodies from guitar and saxophone and a bass line that isn't paying a lot of attention to the rest of the band, this song is a bit of an assault on the senses but once you give yourself to the music then it will all make sense. Elements of Pulp, Ian Dury & the Blockheads, Young Knives and Reverend & the Makers all mix together in a 70s launderette while the band look on with disdain. Always an intriguing listen are the Deadletter gang, you really should get involved.
