CHARLOTTE CARPENTER - SINGLE REVIEW

Charlotte Carpenter - Not Good Enough

Release Date: Out Now

I'm pretty sure that, like me, you've spent some time in your life pondering the soundtrack to the movie of your life and what that might sound like. Well, for the scene when you're down in the dumps and failing to see a way out, might I suggest you opt for the luxuriously sad 'Not Good Enough', the new single from Charlotte Carpenter. The soft, confessional vocals and simple but emotive melody make a powerful partnership and you can almost picture yourself slumped on the floor in your comfiest clothes, eating beans from a tin and crying as Greatest Hits Radio plays that one song that is guaranteed to set you off every time. Carpenter creates a world with her music that is both out of reach and all around us which is a form of magic and one that I am fully on board with.
