Welsh kooks Pigeon Wigs have just dropped their new single 'Radiation Blues' ahead of a clutch of summer dates and festival appearances. As per usual with this lot, this track pulls no punches and gets down to the business of rock'n'roll with a big ol' slab of a riff, a ringing slice of keys and the kind of drum beat that makes your hips thrust involuntarily. The preacher-esque vocals and general swagger of this tune make it sound more New Orleans than Newport but either way it is an absolute banger of a tune and I'd strongly urge you to catch them live if you can this summer.
