Right in time for Burns Night, Nina Nesbitt releases her version of the Scottish anthem 'Caledonia' to accompany the drinking if single malt and the eating of haggis. Now, I'm not Scottish (a Scottish great grandfather is the best I can do) but anyone who has a sense of home and of having once belonged cannot fail to be moved by this song. When you add in Nesbitt's unmistakable, breathy vocal and a delicate, wistful guitar, the heartstrings are well and truly tugged while the violin adds a beautifully folky tinge to proceedings. Glorious stuff.
